Itinerary
Friday 19 April 2024: Travel to Liege
Please make your own arrangements to Liege or meet us at Brussels International Airport (Zaventem) and take our optional airport transfer.
Optional Airport Transfer: £50 per person return
We will run one transfer from the airport today at 11.30. Please allow an hour from your flight landing time to your transfer time, to allow you to get through passport control and collect your luggage. The transfer takes approximately 1 hour so we will get to Liege at about 12.30.
What about my bike?
You can bring your own bike as we have made arrangements to transport bike boxes on our airport transfers. Alternatively, you can rent a bike with us for the weekend. Our mechanic will be available this afternoon at the hotel to assist you with fitting your rental bike or building your own bike after travel. Bikes can be safely stored at the hotel.
We will have your Sportive Entry available for you so no need to visit the expo today to collect your bib for tomorrow's LBL challenge. If you have hired a bike with us, we will take you to collect your bike.
Our Hotel
We are staying at Penta Hotel Liege. Our hotel is located at 4km from the Quai des Ardenens where the pro race starts and finishes on Sunday. The hotel is booked on half board basis with breakfasts and evening meals included. You will also have free access to the following:

Guided ride
At 14.00 this afternoon after bike building and fitting of rental bikes, join us on our first ride; a 60km guided ride around Liege that takes in some of the LBL route including La Redoute.
Late afternoon and early evening, our tour leaders and bike mechanics are available for you. This afternoon you are free to enjoy the hotel’s facilities. You are free to eat your meal at the hotel or to explore some of Liege’s restaurants. Moules Frites anyone?
