5-night X-Bionic® Sphere package arrivals

For those flying in today on the 5-night package, if you arrive in the morning, you will join the group transfer collecting fellow group members from Radisson Red Vienna, making a stop in Bratislava on route to your destination at X-Bionic® Sphere. If you arrive in the evening, you will pick up a scheduled evening transfer, and travel direct to X-Bionic® Sphere. 

Thursday 15 May 2025

During your stay at X-Bionic® Sphere you have unlimited access to swimming pools, athletic track and gym to use at your leisure. Today is free for you to explore the facilities and the surrounding area of Samorin. This evening, we will meet for a welcome drink and meeting to discuss the race schedule. 

Friday 16 May 2025

This morning access to the swim course will be open 7 am to 9 am for us to enjoy a group swim in the Danube River. We will regroup later this morning after breakfast to visit the expo – as part of the Tri Travel group you will have access to a 10% discount on official merchandise. 

This afternoon, we will do a group ride as part of a familiarisation tour of the bike course. There is also a venue walk through hosted by the organisers for first timers at 5pm this evening. 

Saturday 17 May 2025

This morning, we will freshen up with a morning shake-out run. The route will be short and at a relaxed pace to loosen the legs for tomorrow. Unless you are participating in these races; TRYATHLON, SPRINT, STANDARD (OLYMPIC), in which case, it is race day for you! Your bikes will need to be checked in this morning. 

Bike check-in for those racing The Championship is from 5.30pm. You have the freedom to enjoy a VIP spectator experience today with your included VIP ticket. 

There is a Pasta Party this evening in the OLYM-PICK Restaurant. Times may be staggered.

Sunday 18 May 2025

Today is race day for those racing the middle distance (open) and The Championship. If you raced yesterday, it’s your turn to enjoy the VIP hospitality as we cheer on our fellow athletes. Spectators are welcome to join both days of the VIP viewing. 

Once you have completed your race, come join us for a post-race celebration in VIP area. Your bikes & transition bags can be checked out after 3.30pm.

After a fantastic stay at the impressive X-Bionic® Sphere, it’s time to say goodbye. If you aren’t ready to fly off just yet, our team can book you extra nights in either Vienna or Bratislava.

Can we tempt you into another triathlon while you’re here? Make it a challenge like no other by joining us at Challenge St Polten the following weekend. We can organise your transfer with a couple of extra nights in Vienna in between. Contact our team for more information.  

Payments

To book this tour we require a non-refundable non-transferable deposit of 25% at the time of booking, a further 45% is due by the 13th November 2024. The final 30% is due 30 days before travel. From this date, the booking is fully non-refundable and non-changeable. 

Who can book

Our tours are available to book for Triathletes and family and friends from any country. The Championship race is by invite only. However, we have slots available at discounted price for the concurrent events during race week. 

Transfers

Guests are encouraged to arrive into Vienna International Airport (VIE) on Monday 12th May if you are on the Vienna extension or Wednesday 14th May if you are on the 5-night core package only. 

Return airport transfers from Vienna International Airport are included on this tour. Your included group transfers are scheduled for the below times:

14th May 2025 – Arrival Transfers

1pm: Pick up from Vienna International Airport and drop off at X-bionic Hotel with a brief stop in Bratislava to stretch the legs, grab a coffee and have a short explore. You will arrive at x-bionic for approximately 3pm in time for check-in.

7.30pm: Pick up from Vienna International Airport and drop off at X-bionic Hotel at approximately 9pm.

19th May 2025 – Departure Transfers

6am: Our AM transfer will depart x-bionic sphere for Vienna International Airport

1pm: Our PM transfer will depart x-bionic sphere for Vienna International Airport; we will have a brief scheduled stop in Bratislava for anyone who wishes to depart the tour here.

The total journey time between X-bionic sphere and Vienna airport is approximately 1 hour’s drive, if the transfer you are travelling on is scheduled to make a stop in Bratislava, please allow for another 30 minutes to reach the airport. 

If you would prefer to travel by private taxi, please contact our team who can quote you based around your individual timings. Likewise, if you are not travelling to the airport but would like to utilise the transfer to access Vienna City, let us know so we can try to accommodate your plans.

For guests travelling on the Vienna extension, we will collect your flight information and arrange transfers based on your arrival times.
